Christopher J. Danis, M.D.

Christopher J. Danis, M.D., received his medical degree at Wright State University Medical School and his General Surgery training in the integrated Residency Program in Dayton, Ohio. He then completed a Plastic Surgery residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Danis completed a study of hand and microvascular surgery with a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the Hand Rehabilitation Center of Philadelphia, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Danis also completed the rigorous requirements to earn certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Peter S. Barre, M.D.

Peter S. Barre, M.D., received his medical degree from Michigan State University in 1978. After a surgical internship at the University of Texas at Houston and two years as a Medical Officer for The Indian Health Service, Dr. Barre completed his Orthopaedic Residency and hand fellowship at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Barre is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and has completed the requirements for certification for Added Qualifications for Surgery of the Hand. Recertification is valid through December 31, 2019 in Hand Surgery & Orthopaedic surgery.  Dr. Barre is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and Orthopaedic Research Society.  He has been in practice in Dayton, Ohio since 1986 & is licensed to practice medicine in Michigan & Ohio.

Beth A. Berrettoni, M.D.

Beth A. Berrettoni, M.D., is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed her Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland and was a Hand Fellow at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. During her years of training, Dr. Berrettoni has been active in research, and has had her work presented in national medical publications. Dr. Berrettoni is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has obtained the Certificate of Added Qualifications for Surgery of the Hand. She is a member of The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Rannie AlSamkari, M.D.

Rannie AlSamkari, M.D. is a graduate of Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery Training at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, where he focused specifically on problems of the upper extremity. He subsequently completed his Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at the University of Louisville/Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. AlSamkari is board-certified and is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Karen L. Storer, PA-C

Karen L. Storer, PA-C, joined the staff of Hand and Reconstructive Surgeons, Inc., to provide quality, timely patient care. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree as a Physician Assistant in December 2002, from the Kettering College of Medical Arts. She also holds an Associate Degree in Radiology Technology from Xavier University. Currently, Karen has her Masters Degree through the University of Nebraska Medical College. All patient care is coordinated through our physicians, and Karen’s office hours allows for more immediate patient appointments.
